I spent one night at Albany House during a long drive from Hampshire to Scotland. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. I loved the little touches like homemade brownies and sweets waiting for me. The bathroom was spacious, with a great power shower. Breakfast options impressed me. The fresh fruit, cereals, and the full English were delicious and cooked to perfection. I had a lovely chat with the owners too, who shared their insights about running a B&B. I found the single-use toiletries a bit outdated. It struck me as contrary to today's eco-friendly trends. Parking was easy with the permit provided, though I imagine it could be tricky during busier seasons. enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Had an awesome time with friends! The location was perfect for exploring Ulswater Lake and hitting up the local pubs. The breakfast spread was really impressive, and the owners were super helpful. Don't miss out on the homemade brownies in the room!
One small downside was the single-use toiletries, which felt a bit outdated considering today's eco-conscious vibe.

Perfect getaway for families
We had a fab time staying here! The family room was spacious for my crew, and the beds were super comfy. Susan dished out an amazing breakfast, fresh fruit, and all. Only thing was the tea tray in the room wasn’t the best spot for my bouncy teen. But, it didn’t ruin our vibe! Such a close walk to town too.
